A set of cups made for this project acts as the bridge that connects people, the comfort of a drink and the piece of art as a starting point for genuine conversation.
Documentation through video, photographs, and written reflections record the experience in a way that can be shared with others, spreading the individual experiences in a way that allow others to participate in what is hopefully the refreshingly honest exchange.

INTERIOR REEF
I utilize the texture and flexibility of form that is found in coral reefs in order to expand my technical skills and an appreciation for the details and patterns of nature.
The pieces are created by combining the intricacies of coral life with elements from foreign environments, such as deserts and caves. Placed in thoughtful arrangements, the viewer experiences a reef in an unfamiliar way that encourages a closer examination of the details.
